Charles Czarnecki (Musical Director)
 Charles Czarnecki is a Creative Entrepreneur working in international entertainment industries as a music supervisor, music producer, conductor, orchestrator, vocal arranger, pianist, executive producer, curator, creative consultant, development/marketing consultant, & pitch ninja. Impressing his early mentors & teachers at a very young age, he has worked as a professional music director, conductor, & pianist since the age of 16. He made his Broadway debut conducting Jersey Boys and his Carnegie Hall debut conducting / orchestrating for / vocal arranging for the New York Pops both in 2006.
His clientele in the categories of creative consultant, music producer, & personal music director range from Broadway stars to Hollywood visionaries. As a music producer, his work ranges from theatrical cast albums, to concept albums for film, to jazz, pop, rock, & classical, and is rounded off with a wealth of world music. His clients & core professional network include Rock ‘n Roll Hall Of Famers, Tony-winning performers, Grammy-winning artists, and world-renowned studio musicians.
In 2015, Czarnecki founded MAITH (Music & Art In The Heights), an art collective in Jersey City, NJ. As the founder and executive curator, Czarnecki created a home base for an exceptionally talented community of creative and performing artists. A Salon Series as well as a discussion-based Living Room series were started which led not only to extraordinary artistic events, but also to the spawning of professional relationships which formed collaborative partnerships, aided in the advocation for art spaces in developing real estate, and helped inspire and form new art venues in the community.
Czarnecki is currently focused on philanthropic, innovative, and immersive projects. His projects blur the lines between theater, television, concert, and film, pushing the envelope with how story telling and technology can make profound connections to the human spirit.
The maestro holds his Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance & Psychology from Purchase Conservatory of Music, his Master’s degree in Classical Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music, and various certificates of completion & distinction from international festivals around the world. He is a proud Polish-American, an avid and passionate advocate for diversity and cultural understanding, and a true international businessman now based in Berlin & New York. He was recently honored by his alma mater, St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, as an inductee to their Fine Arts Wall of Honor.
Czarnecki is also the founder & artistic director of the web-based creative resource CZMaestro.com. His new immersive-based production company, Next.Gen.Immersive, is in the works, serious interest has started in his founding of a new modern orchestra in Berlin called Ascension Ensemble, and he recently launched a new Substack podcast and newsletter called Le Chat Noir Journal in Spring 2023.
Particular projects to look out for in 2023/24 include Parallelogram, Bollywood & Vine, Genesis, Pèlerinaj, the relaunch of the international concert phenomenon Broadway Rox, and further arrangement & orchestration collaborations with Joshua Bell.
