Mark Fabian (Author / Music / Lyrics)
At age 14 Mark Fabian wrote a ballad recorded by jazz and soul singer Cavril Payne in the famed Media Sound Studios in NYC.
Since that experience he has worked the New York metro area as a singer-songwriter while giving countless original pop songs to any singer he thought had talent to use in their quest for a record deal.
He wrote two musicals that were brought to the attention of Charles Czarnecki.
“Palisades Park the Musical” is extremely close to Mark’s heart as he lived walking distance from the famous amusement park until it closed when he was 15 years old.
It was there that he saw Cousin Brucie, New York’s most beloved radio DJ bring incredible talent to the park’s huge amphitheater summer after summer: Tony Bennett, Frankie Avalon, Fabian, Freddy Canon, Tony Orlando, The Supremes, Lesley Gore, The Fifth Dimension, The Lovin’ Spoonful and even a young Billy Joel among them.
Mark was influenced by Cousin Brucie and these pop stars as far back as he can remember.
Now he is the writer of the book, music and lyrics to a musical that is sure to be a wonderful immersive experience for all ages on the Broadway stage!
